ft. a twenty-year-old, twenty-five foot tiny home on wheels.
The vibe is intentional living, pro-environment & anti- mindless consumerism, which of course go hand in hand. In an effort to live more simply with less distraction & to reduce our environmental impact while being fully submerged in Mother Nature herself, we chose to do the full-time tiny travel-trailer house thing.
We spent the first few months of quarantine fixing, restoring, and preparing this glorified tin-can — and then set out on an adventure across the US.
We stayed on some beautiful regenerative, sustainable farms and had the opportunity to meet some incredible people.
Our hope was that living tiny and mobile would allow us to escape from the many environmental toxins that abound in urban areas. We learned first hand the lesson Rachel Carson teaches about in Silent Spring; that in an attempt to control nature and use it for our human benefit, humans have caused and continue to cause great harm even far away from the crowded and polluted cities.
All hope in not lost for Earth and her species, however, and many of these experiences have helped me on my path as a passionate scientific writer and translator of environmental health topics. 🌱
